Lt. Bobby Hines was first introduced into law enforcement in 1995 when he became the chaplain for local police departments.  In getting to know the officers he gained great respect for them and went through the reserve officer academy.  In 1998 he joined the Franklin Police Department full time and graduated from the P.O.S.T. Academy.  After serving a year as a patrol officer he became a K-9 handler working criminal patrol with his new partner, Boehda.  He later made sargeant and soon became a shift supervisor.   He made lieutenant and continued his role as shift supervisor and K-9 officer.  His first partner retired and he began working his second K-9, Tygo, who he still works with today.  In December 2005 he was moved into administration where he was assigned various duties.

Chief Sabria Hill McGuire began her law enforcement career in 1978 in St. Martin Parish.  She started at the Franklin Police Department in 1983 as a dispatcher and after a short period of time moved to Police Officer and was assigned as the Juvenile Officer for the department.  Later she moved to detective where she worked felony and narcotic investigations.
In 1990 she left the department and went to work at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office as Chief of Narcotics and was also placed in charge of the St. Mary Task Force.
In 1994 she went back home to the Franklin Police Department where she worked as Detective Lieutenant.  She then became Chief of Police in 1997.
Her hobbies include playing golf with her husband Darrin and spending time with all of her "children"- that being three dogs, a cat and a bird.

Lt. Tina Thibodeaux began her career in law enforcement in 1989 as a dispatcher at the age of 18.  She attended, and graduated from, the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office P.O.S.T. Academy in 1994.  In 1995 she became a police officer working patrol.  In 1999 she left the Franklin Police Department and went to work for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office and was assigned to the jail.  She became a lieutenant there and was in charge of a shift.  In 2002 she returned "home" to the Franklin Police Department as a police officer working patrol.  In 2003 she was assigned to administration in the narcotics office where she is also assigned detective duties.  That same year she was awarded Officer of the Year by her peers.  Upon eligibility she passed the civil service test for Sargeant.  Recently she passed the civil service test for Lieutenant.  She is a single mother raising her, as she admits, wonderful daughter- Tyler.  Her family and friends are her world as well as spending time with her 3 great-nephews and great-neice- Sadie.

Agent Amiee Guidroz began her career in Law Enforcement in 2000 with St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office as a communications coordinator.  She left in 2002 for one year to work as a surgical technition, returning to St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office to attend the P.O.S.T. Academy in 2003.  Guidroz was assigned to patrol in 2004, prior to transferring to, what she calls "home"... to the Franklin Police Department in 2006.  She worked patrol and was recently reassigned as a "Detective / Narcotic" Agent.
Claire May joined the Franklin Police Department Reserves in February 2003, which is when her whole world changed.  As the training began and learning what goes on in law enforcement, she began to want to learn it all.  In June 2003, she became a part time records clerk at the department.  She held that position until May of 2007 when she became a full time records clerk.  In July of 2007 she took the position of Secretary to the Chief and it again changed her whole life.  She says, "I work with a wonderful department.  It is my family.  Everyone there is very special to me.  This department stands by your side and helps you when times get rough in your life."   Claire is married to Sgt. Billy May, who also works for the Franklin Police Department in Patrol.  They have three beautiful daughters- Allyson, Emilie, and Haylie who also keeps her on her toes.  Claire says, "I am very proud of Allyson who is currently going through the reserve academy (not very many 17 year olds are doing this) and also finishing up her Senior year of High School.  I have a special thanks for Chief McGuire who has always encouraged me and pushed me in my career."
