Secretary to the Chief
Chief Sabria Hill McGuire began her law enforcement career in 1978 in St. Martin Parish.  She started at the Franklin Police Department in 1983 as a dispatcher and after a short period of time moved to Police Officer and was assigned as the Juvenile Officer for the department.  Later she moved to detective where she worked felony and narcotic investigations.
In 1990 she left the department and went to work at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office as Chief of Narcotics and was also placed in charge of the St. Mary Task Force.
In 1994 she went back home to the Franklin Police Department where she worked as Detective Lieutenant.  She then became Chief of Police in 1997.
Her hobbies include playing golf with her husband Darrin and spending time with all of her "children"- that being three dogs, a cat and a bird.

Lt. Tina Thibodeaux began her career in law enforcement in 1989 as a dispatcher at the age of 18.  She attended, and graduated from, the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office P.O.S.T. Academy in 1994.  In 1995 she became a police officer working patrol.  In 1999 she left the Franklin Police Department and went to work for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office and was assigned to the jail.  She became a lieutenant there and was in charge of a shift.  In 2002 she returned "home" to the Franklin Police Department as a police officer working patrol.  In 2003 she was assigned to administration in the narcotics office where she is also assigned detective duties.  That same year she was awarded Officer of the Year by her peers.  Upon eligibility she passed the civil service test for Sargeant.  Recently she passed the civil service test for Lieutenant.  She is a single mother raising her, as she admits, wonderful daughter- Tyler.  Her family and friends are her world as well as spending time with her 3 great-nephews and great-neice- Sadie.

Claire May joined the Franklin Police Department Reserves in February 2003, which is when her whole world changed.  As the training began and learning what goes on in law enforcement, she began to want to learn it all.  In June 2003, she became a part time records clerk at the department.  She held that position until May of 2007 when she became a full time records clerk.  In July of 2007 she took the position of Secretary to the Chief and it again changed her whole life.  She has three beautiful daughters- Allyson, Emilie,  Haylie and a granddaughter Sonia Claire. Who also keeps her on her toes.  I have a special thanks for Chief McGuire who has always encouraged me and pushed me in my career."

Juvenile Officer
Capt. Carla Bourgeois Weidenboerner began her career in Law Enforcement in 1983. She started working at the Franklin Police Dept and remains here today. She began working as a dispatcher and worked her way through the ranks to Police Captian . She currently commands the Patrol Division.
In her private life, she enjoys her family, her animals, gardening, and soap making.

Det. Terrance Moore began his Law Enforcement career in 2002 at the age of 18 as a dispatcher for the Jeanerette Police Department in Iberia Parish. In 2005 he was assigned to the Patrol Division after graduating from the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office P.O.S.T. Academy. In 2007 he was assigned as the Department's Juvenile Officer after graduating from the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office P.O.S.T. Juvenile Officer's Acadmey. During his time with the Jeanerette Police Dept Det. Moore attended and graduated from several training and instructor schools to improve his knowledge of Law Enforcement, as well as volunterring his time as a Reserve Officer with the St. Martinville Police Dept in St. Martin Parish. In 2008 Det. Moore left the Jeanerette Polie Dept and came here, to the Franklin Police Dept. He was assigned to the Patrol Division. In 2009 Det. Moore was awarded Officer of The Year by his Peers. In December 2009 he was reassigned to Administration as a Detective.
Det. Moore enjoys spending time with his family and friends as well as fishing among other hobbies on his personal time.

Ofc. Michelle Rudolph started her career with the Franklin Police Department April 1986 as a Communications Officer. Presently she is the Jail Warden, Terminal Agency Coordinator, and Communications Supervisor.
When she is off she enjoys singing, reading, going to church, and spending time with her family.

Lt. K. Gunner

Patrol Supervisor

Lt.  Kennedy Gunner was born and raised in Verdunville, LA. He graduated from Centerville High School in May 1984. He joined the Army in 1987 and served on Active Duty until 1999. He is a Desert Storm Veteran. Lt. Gunner joined the Franklin Police Department in July 2000 until Present. He begged (then) Chief Hill to take a chance on him and she did. The Rest Is History!
On Lt. Gunner's off time he enjoys watching television and reading crime & espionage novels. He is married with four children.

Rachel Broussard

Part Time Records Clerk

Rachel Broussard joined the Franklin Police Department in April 2008 as the full time Records Clerk and Webmaster. In March 2012 she left to go work at the District Attorney's Office but will work part time as Records Clerk and Website Supervisor. 
In her spare time Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and her fiance' Ron.  She also enjoys photography, fishing, and traveling.

Ofc. Brandan Trahan

Ofc. Brandan Trahan began his law enforcement career in 2008 when he joined the reserve division of the Franklin Police Department.  As a Reserve Officer, Ofc. Trahan filled in on shifts both on the road and in dispatch.  At the end of 2011, he decided to change his career path and switched his major in college to Criminal Justice.   After completing his bachelor’s degree, his plans are to enter a master’s degree program so that he can one day teach criminal justice courses on the college level.  Besides working on his assigned cases, Ofc. Trahan also enjoys working with the juveniles in the community.  He currently serves as the department’s grant writer and assistant Juvenile Officer.  Ofc.. Trahan is married, and on his off time enjoys spending time with his family and friends, reading, and working to complete his soon-to-be finished bachelor’s degree.
